This 2-hour workshop will be conducted by Naeem Zafar, a faculty member of the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley and author of four eBooks on entrepreneurship. 

The workshop will be interactive and it will outline the process and method of starting a business. Jumpstart your startup

Starting on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 and wrapping up on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009, the new “Jumpstart Biz Plan (Session 2)” workshop consists of 5 classes in Palo Alto. Workshops are interactive lectures and discussions led by a UC Berkeley faculty member Naeem Zafar and hands-on working sessions with successful women executives, VCs, and entrepreneurs providing “from the trenches” feedback and insight. The Art of writing a business plan

Naeem will be conducting a workshop for TIE Institute of How to Write a Business Plan on August 19, 2009 in Santa Clara

Writing a business plan is often a giant obstacle for an entrepreneur. It seems complex and many have never seen a business plan before.

This session will demystify the process of writing a business plan.

We will outline the logical sequence of thinking through all aspects of starting a business and putting that in a document that will become the source of enlightenment for you and your investors. We will cover the following topics:
